At the scene, the forces seized 80 plastic packages containing 15,200 methamphetamine pills, three cell phones, and a scooter, among others.
The arrested are Mua A Nha, born in 1981 and residing in Mai Son’s Phieng Cam commune, and Song A Nu, born in 2001 and residing in Song Ma district’s Muong Sai commune.
The case is under further investigation.
About 300 km from Hanoi, Son La province is notorious as a drug hotspot, with around 1,000 cases and hundreds of kilogrammes of narcotics seized every year./.
