Scene at the southern food festival (Photo: VNA)Visitors can savour 100 types of “che” – a Vietnamese term for local sweet beverage or pudding-like desserts – and cakes at a separated space at the event.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Tran Vinh Tuyen, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, said the festival will bring the essence of the southern cuisine, culture and tourism for visitors.-VNA
