Close to 18,000 students from more than 50 universities and colleges in Ho Chi Minh City are joining the seventh Spring Volunteering Campaign in a bid to bring a warm Tet (Lunar New Year) to everybody in the city.

The campaign, launched by the city’s City Students Association on January 25, comprises various meaningful activities from January 25 to February 18.

The activities will focus on five key programmes: “Friends’ Tet” for disadvantaged students; “Shared Spring” for poor families and patients; “Soldiers’ Spring” for border and islands soldiers and their families; “Children’s Tet” for disadvantaged children; and “Gifts for Children” for children in welfare facilities.-VNA
