The Ministry of Information and Communications has recently issued a set of four postage stamps on the theme ‘Vietnamese lighthouses’, according to Nhan Dan Online.
The stamps, designed by painters from the Vietnam Post Corporation (VietnamPost), feature four Vietnamese typical lighthouses including Diem Dien, Ly Son, Dai Lanh and Ke Ga in Thai Binh, Quang Ngai, Phu Yen and Binh Thuan provinces, respectively.
The four 32 x 43 mm stamps will be available in the post network until December 31, 2014.
This is the second set of postage stamps on lighthouses. The first set, introducing lighthouses of Cu Lao Xanh in Quy Nhon city, Can Gio in Ho Chi Minh City, Vung Tau in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province and Long Chau in Hai Phong city, was issued in 1992.-VNA
