Vietnam is keen to promote and expand its ties with Uzbekistan, Mauritania, Slovenia, Macedonia, Iceland, Peru, and Tunisia, especially in economics, trade and investment.
President Nguyen Minh Triet stated this in Hanoi on Dec. 9 while receiving the above-mentioned countries’ non-resident ambassadors to Vietnam after they presented their credentials.
The State leader suggested that they each coordinate with Vietnam’s agencies to exploit the potential and strengths of each country by exchanging of delegations at all levels and their sharing experiences.
He confirmed that Vietnam’s agencies would create the best possible conditions for ambassadors to fulfill their tasks, which will help to develop relations between Vietnam and their countries.
The ambassadors said they would do their utmost to encourage friendly and cooperative ties between Vietnam and their respective countries./.
