State President Nguyen Minh Triet made the statement while receiving newly-appointed ambassadors from the four countries in Hanoi on February 23 after their presentation of credentials.

At separate meetings with the ambassadors, the State leader suggested they each actively coordinate with Vietnamese agencies to further boost the exchange of delegations at all levels and the sharing of experiences as well as strengthen mutual understanding.

He expressed his hope that the ambassadors will make active contributions to developing relations between Vietnam and their countries.

For their part, the ambassadors spoke highly of Vietnam ’s achievements in national construction and development and affirmed that they will try their best to strengthen and expand the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and their countries./.
