A delegation from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) will visit Vietnam in mid-June in an exchange with students at Vietnam National University.

At a meeting on April 12 with the delegation’s members prior to their visit, Vietnamese Consul General to Hong Kong and Macau, China, Nguyen Thi Nha said with their knowledge, aspiration, enthusiasm and thirst for making new friends, students have been playing an important role in strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between localities.

Nha expressed her hope that the delegation’s visit will encourage more students from Hong Kong to visit or study in Vietnam.

She suggested Hong Kong and Vietnamese youths strengthen exchange activities to learn more about each side’s history, culture and development, further consolidating the friendship between Vietnam and China , and Hong Kong in particular.

During their stay in Vietnam, PolyU students will visit the Ho Chi Minh Museum, the History Museum, Hanoi’s old quarter and the Duong Lam ancient village.-VNA
