Accordingly, trains departing from northern stations, such as Hanoi and Dong Le, for southern destinations, including Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City, will see tickets prices reduced by 2 percent to 15 percent.
The discounted fares went into effect on May 22 and will continue until September 5.
Additionally, Vietnam Railway Corporation announced a 10 percent discount promotion for all students participating in the upcoming high graduation examination, along with accompanying family members.
With each exam invitation notice, students will be able to purchase discounted return tickets.-VNA
