Support given to blaze victims in Russia
The Vietnamese Embassy in Russia held a meeting on September 13 to
gather support for the victims of the fire in the town of Egorevsk
which killed 14 Vietnamese workers and injured one other on September
11.

The participants set up a special working party headed by Envoy, Pham Thi Ngoc Bich to deal with the post-fire issues.
Bich said that the embassy and Vietnamese community in Russia will help with the funeral costs and repatriate the victims’ ashes back to Vietnam , which is estimated to cost 2,000 USD for each casualty.
After all the legal procedures are completed, the embassy will hold a service for the victims.-VNA
