A ship of the Japan-based Kawasaki Geological Survey Company is conducting a marine geological survey to prepare for the construction of Ninh Thuan 2 nuclear power plant.

The ship M.T.CHOYO will conduct the survey from Vinh Hai commune, Ninh Hai district, the southern province of Ninh Thuan, which will accommodate the plant, with an expanded radius of 40 kilometres at sea. The survey is expected to last for 43 days.

Ships BP 36-04-01 and BP 36-04-02 of the provincial Border Guard High Command will escort the Japanese vessel./.
