Sympathy to Sri Lanka over calamity losses
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on June 1 sent his sympathy to his Sri Lankan counterpart over the serious losses in human lives and property caused by recent floods and landslides in the country.

Hanoi (VNA) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on
June 1 sent his message of sympathy to his Sri Lankan counterpart Ranil
Wickremesinghe over the serious losses in human lives and property caused by
recent floods and landslides in the country.
Severe rains and strong winds since May 26 have caused major floods and landslides in many areas of Sri Lanka. The death toll has surpassed 200 while almost 100 people are still missing, and over 600,000 people have been affected.-VNA
