Owners and captains of fishing vessels between 12 and 24 metres in length are being instructed on how to record operational data, including fuel and ice consumption, catches from each fishing trip and electronic logbook submissions through the fisheries management system.

At a meeting on May 26 reviewing implementation measures, Pham Thi Na, Deputy Director of the municipal Department of Agriculture and Environment, said the city aims to complete the rollout of the e-logbook system across all eligible vessels before December 31.
