During the congress discussions alone, 75 opinions were voiced directly on the draft political report of the 14th National Party Congress – the collective wisdom of the entire Party, people, and armed forces.
Over the two-day event, participants thoroughly reviewed achievements from the 2020-2025 term, charted directions and objectives for 2025-2030, and contributed substantive input to draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress. Alongside group discussions, 13 presentations addressed critical contemporary issues concerning the Party building work and socio-economic development. The congress saw the attendance of Party General Secretary To Lam.
Addressing the preparatory session of the first Congress of the Government’s Party Organization on October 12, Binh, who is also Standing Deputy Secretary of the Government Party Committee, said these achievements came despite unprecedented pandemic, extreme natural disasters, and a volatile global and regional landscape.
The first Congress of the Government’s Party Organisation, the 2025 – 2030 tenure, had its preparatory meeting held under the chair of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, who is also Politburo member and Secretary of the Government’s Party Committee, on October 12 morning.
The congress is attended by 453 delegates representing more than 209,000 members of the 2,211 Party units across the Government’s Party Organisation.
