Vietnam is not only an integral part of but also a frontrunner in the dynamic development process of East and Southeast Asia, having recorded highly impressive progress over recent decades, said Milan Krajca, Chairman of the Czech Peace Movement and a member of the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia (KSČM).
The Vice President expressed hope that the two countries would continue to strengthen cooperation across multiple areas, especially as they celebrate the 15th anniversary of diplomatic ties (January 16, 2010 – 2025).
Over more than five decades since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1973 and 15 years since the adoption of the Strategic Partnership framework in 2010, Vietnam and the UK have built a strong and enduring partnership, underpinned by mutual respect and a shared vision of a safe, prosperous and sustainable future.
National Assembly (NA) Chairman Tran Thanh Man underlined Vietnam's unwavering support for initiatives that contribute to global and regional peace and stability in an address at the opening of the 11th Plenary Session of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace (IPTP) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on November 24.
