Governor-General Sam Mostyn highlighted that the over 320,000 Vietnamese people in Australia form an integral part of the country’s success, noting that Tet celebrations help preserve culture while strengthening solidarity, mutual understanding and strength of Australia’s multicultural society.
Congratulating Vietnam on its recent achievements, Australian Governor-General Sam Mostyn hailed Vietnam as one of Australia’s most trusted partners, and wished to deepen all-around cooperation to foster a peaceful, stable, and prosperous region.
The Australian Governor-General hailed Vietnamese peacekeepers’ role in advancing global peace and security, saying their success also reflects the high standards of the Vietnam People’s Army in international missions.
