On October 6 in Hanoi, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Do Van Chien, continued to receive donations in support of residents in provinces and cities hit by Typhoon No. 10.
Typhoon No. 10 (Bualoi) slammed into Vietnam on the night of September 28 and early September 29, causing severe destruction across northern and central provinces.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Nguyen Hoang Hiep emphasised that the fast pace of the storm requires more urgent response measures at sea. He urged coastal provinces to hasten the withdrawal of vessels from hazardous areas and issue sea bans earlier, even 48 hours ahead of its landfall.
