The award was initiated by President of the Association of Asian Artists Charlotte Agusttes-Reynier to give promising Vietnamese art students a real taste of Paris.
During the two-day “Salon de l’Asie 2025”, visitors to the space were treated to four art performances each day, calligraphy demonstrations, martial arts displays and lively unicorn dances.
The Vietnamese performances combined traditional and contemporary elements, leaving a strong impression on audiences. Highlights included the evocative “Dat nuoc loi ru,” (Lullaby of nation), the soulful sound of the monochord “Dan bau” (Vietnam's traditional one-string musical instrument), and a moving rendition of the Republic of Korea's well-known piece “Onara” in a Vietnamese–Korean fusion style.
