Nearly 16,000 officers and soldiers from the armed forces and public security units, along with a wide array of modern weapons and military equipment, took part in the second comprehensive rehearsal for the grand parade marking the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day. The rehearsal is held on August 5 at National Military Training Centre 4, Hanoi.
On July 30 afternoon, Colonel General Truong Thien To, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army, visited, inspected and encouraged parade contingents training at Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park and National Military Training Centre 4 in Hanoi, in preparation for the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 – August 19, 2025) and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2025), known as the A80 mission.
