Nine months after the February 20 community event, COVID-19 in Cambodia has been brought under control and the country is fully reopening in almost all sectors.
Cambodia logged an additional 41 COVID-19 infections on March 14 morning, raising the number of cases linked with the “February 20 Community Event” to 792.
Lockdown measures have been imposed in a number of localities in Cambodia to curb the spread of COVID-19 while the Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a loan of 400 million USD for the Philippines to purchase COVID-19 vaccines.
Cambodia is facing the possibility of more provinces being affected by the prevailing COVID-19 February 20 Community Event which broke out on the same date in the capital.
