The number of Vietnamese students in the US in the 2012-2013 academic
year increased by 3.4 percent year-on-year, to 16,098, according to an
Open Doors Report on International Educational Exchange released by the
US International Institute of Education on November 11.
Vietnamese students in the US, most under 30 years old, have
demonstrated great diligence and talent, according to officials of the
Vietnam Education Foundation (VEF).
