The ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) has committed to boosting its engagements with ASEAN for the development of a strong ASEAN Community.

Parliamentary ties between Vietnam and Russia are important to overall relations, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly of Vietnam Tong Thi Phong has said.

Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnamese National Assembly (NA) Tong Thi Phong suggested measures to promote the role of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) at the first plenary session of the 38th AIPA General Assembly (AIPA-38) which opened in Manila, the Philippines, on September 16.

Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Tong Thi Phong attended a meeting of the Executive Board of the 38th General Assembly of ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly in the Philippines, on Sept. 15.

President Tran Dai Quang has sent his greetings to the upcoming 38th General Assembly of ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly, which will take place in Manila, Philippines, from September 14 to 20.
