Vietnamese Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son on August 2 attended the 23rd ASEAN Political-Security Community (APSC) Council Meeting as part of the 54th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (AMM-54).

The 11th Coordinating Conference for the ASEAN Political-Security Community (APSC) took place at the ASEAN Secretariat’s headquarters in Jakarta on March 5 to review the implementation of the APSC Blueprint 2025.
The ASEAN Political-Security Community Council (APSC) and the ASEAN Coordinating Council (ACC) convened their meetings in Singapore on November 13 to review the grouping’s cooperation, and complete reports and documents to be submitted to the leaders.
The ASEAN Secretariat and ASEAN member states all have confirmed that preparations for the establishment of the ASEAN Community have been basically completed.
The ASEAN Political-Security Community (APSC) blueprint 2009-2015 has been fully carried out, said Malaysian secretary-general of the Foreign Ministry Othman Hashim.
