Cambodian Minister of Commerce Pan Sorasak attended consultations between ASEAN Economic Ministers (AEM) and the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) held recently via videoconference, reported Cambodia News Agency AKP.
The Governments of ASEAN member countries will spare no efforts to help the business community surmount challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic to quickly recover and resume services and production, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said on June 26.
The ASEAN Leaders’ Interface with Representatives of ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) took place on June 26 within the framework of the 36th ASEAN Summit, which is held in the form of a video conference. Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, ASEAN Chair in 2020 chaired the dialogue.
The ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) was satisfied with negotiations over ASEAN trade facilitation procedures, in which all members agreed to form and implement guidelines on non-tariff measures, said the Thai Ministry of Commerce.
Senior ASEAN leaders met with representatives of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA), ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) and ASEAN Youth in Bangkok on June 22.
