The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and China have a responsibility to create a peaceful and stable region, as there will be no prosperity without peace and stability, Indonesian President Joko Widodo said on November 22.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has said Vietnam will keep doing its utmost to help develop the ASEAN - China relations on par with their comprehensive strategic partnership.

The China-ASEAN International Touring Assembly and Media Rally 2016 (CAITA) began its journey across Vietnam in Hanoi on November 24, marking 25 years of the ASEAN – China dialogue relations.

China and Laos have enjoyed sound cooperation over the past five decades of diplomatic relations, said Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

The ASEAN member countries were unanimous in the contents of a Press Statement issued by the ASEAN Foreign Ministers at the Special ASEAN-China Foreign Ministers’ Meeting.

Singapore, as the Country Coordinator for ASEAN-China Dialogue Relations, wants to bridge China and ASEAN member nations in building mutual trust.
