Embassy works to help Vietnam women rescued in Malaysia

The Vietnamese Embassy in Malaysia is working with the Malaysian side in a case relating to the recent rescue of 136 Vietnamese women from a nightclub in Kuala Lumpur. At a regular press conference of the Foreign Ministry in Hanoi on January 8, the Ministry’s Deputy Spokesperson Pham Thu Hang reported that the Ministry instructed the Embassy to promptly coordinate with relevant Malaysian agencies to verify the case as well as identifying those involved before bringing them home.
