The National Assembly has approved a proposal of the NA Standing Committee on postponing the debate and adoption of the draft Law on Special Administrative and Economic Units of Van Don, Bac Van Phong, and Phu Quoc.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has affirmed that all ideas on the land lease period crafted in the draft Law on Special Administrative-Economic Units of Van Don, Bac Van Phong and Phu Quoc will be considered, and reasonable adjustments will be made to meet people’s aspiration.
Legislators discussed contentious contents of the draft law on the special administrative-economic units of Van Don, Bac Van Phong and Phu Quoc in the morning of May 23, the third working day of the fifth meeting of the 14th National Assembly.
