ASEAN Secretary-General Dato Lim Jock Hoi has lauded Vietnam’s leadership and persistence in leading the ASEAN in building the ASEAN Community, and especially in promoting the grouping’s joint efforts in coping with the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Committee of Permanent Representatives to ASEAN convened its 6th session in Manila on April 26 in preparation for the 30th ASEAN Summit and related meetings slated for April 27-29.
The Lao Permanent Representative to ASEAN handed over the chairmanship of the Committee of Permanent Representatives to ASEAN (CPR) next year to his Philippine counterpart on December 1.
