President Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended a ceremony in Hanoi on June 9 to mark the 40th anniversary of Army Corps 11 under the Ministry of National Defence, during which he presented the third-class Fatherland Protection Order to the engineering corps.
A ceremony was held in Vientiane on March 20 to hand over the new National Assembly Building to the Lao legislature, which is a gift from the Vietnamese Party, State and people.
Army Corps 11 (Thanh An Company) under the Ministry of National Defence on November 19 presented medical supplies and cash totalling 1.5 billion VND (64,000 USD) to the Lao Ministry of Defence to support the country's soldiers and officers in the fight against COVID-19.
Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung has described Lao’s National Assembly House, to be built with Vietnam'support, as a symbol of the special solidarity and friendship between the two countries.
