Vietnam has overtaken China as the largest furniture exporter to the U.S. as tariffs drive manufacturers out of the world’s second largest economy, according US magazine Furniture Today.
Boasting huge production advantages and capitalising on good market opportunities, Vietnam’s furniture sector has stood firm amid COVID-19 and improved its position in the global market and especially in the US.
The US-based Furniture Today website on May 17 ran an article on Vietnam’s overtaking China in furniture shipments to the United States for the first time ever in 2020.
