A festival featuring the Vietnamese community’s 40-year integration and
development in Germany was held in Berlin on June 28 as part of
activities to celebrate the 40 th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic
ties.
The Vietnamese film “Quyen”, also known as “Farewell to the Berlin
Wall”, was well received by German audiences after its debut at the Kino
International cinema in Berlin on June 16.
A conference of the Ho Chi Minh City-based Vietnam-Germany University
(VGU) Council convened at the Goethe University of Frankfurt in Germany
on June 3 to review the its performances and study programmes.
The ‘Strategic mainstreaming of ecosystem-based adaptation in Vietnam’
project was launched in Hanoi on May 29 following a signing ceremony
on execution agreement between the Ministry of Natural Resources and
Environment (MoNRE) and the German International Cooperation Agency
(GIZ).
Judicial ties is one of the key contents of Vietnam-Germany
cooperation in 2015, Vietnamese Ambassador to Germany Nguyen Thi Hoang
Anh announced during a recent meeting with the State of Brandenburg’s
Minister of Justice Ronald Pienky in Berlin.
The development of Vietnam 40 years since the end of the war in the
country was the focus of a recent Berlin workshop co-hosted by the Rosa –
Luxembourg Foundation in Brandendburg and German international policy
research magazine WeltTrends.
A delegation of the National Assembly (NA) Committee for Culture,
Education, Youth, Adolescents and Children led by its Deputy Head Le Nhu
Tien is on a working visit to Germany to learn about its experience in
culture-education policymaking.
