President Nguyen Xuan Phuc received Indian Ambassador Pranay Verma in Hanoi on September 20, appreciating the outgoing diplomat’s contributions to the two countries’ cooperation in all aspects, especially during the two years of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The strengthening of trade exchange between Vietnam and India not only by the traditional method but also in the online format has contributed to promoting the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries, said Hoang Minh Chien, deputy head of the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (VIETTRADE) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The Embassy of India in Vietnam hosted a ceremony to celebrate the 71st anniversary of India’s Independence Day (August 15, 1947) in Hanoi on August 15.
