The Asian Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI), founded in 1979, pursues a common mission like other working groups of the International Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI), that is “Professional supreme audit institutions promote good State governance” and with the core values of “Professionalism, Cooperation, Equality, Creativity”.
The teleconferenced 55th meeting of the Governing Board of the Asian Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI), chaired by the State Audit Office of Vietnam (SAV), has ended with success with many important issues handled.
A delegation from the State Audit Office of Vietnam led by Auditor General Ho Duc Phoc had a working session with President of the Court of Audit of Belgium Philippe Roland in Brussels on February 26.
The hosting of the 14th ASOSAI Assembly is a chance for the State Audit Office of Vietnam to affirm its role in the world and bring its standing to a new level.
The hosting of the Asian Associations of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI)’s 14th Assembly will not only contribute to promoting the image of Vietnam, but also give the State Audit of Vietnam (SAV) a good opportunity to forge links with ASOSAI member supreme audit institutions, said Auditor General Ho Duc Phoc.
With the hosting of the 14th Assembly of the Asian Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI) this September, the State Audit of Vietnam (SAV) will become Chairman of ASOSAI for 2018-2021, which is set to bring both opportunities and challenges to a young agency like the SAV.
