Vietnam and Italy convened the 7th meeting of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation in Hanoi on June 7, during which the two sides discussed various aspects of the bilateral economic partnership.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on June 22 suggested Germany create favourable conditions for Vietnam to early access vaccine supplies and transfer vaccine production technology to the Southeast Asian nation.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation have signed an agreement to establish a new Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation.
