Vietnam and India have issued a joint statement on the State visit to Vietnam from November 18-20 by Indian President Ram Nath Kovind and his spouse at the invitation of President Nguyen Phu Trong.

Minister of Defence Ngo Xuan Lich and his visiting Indian counterpart Manohar Parrika agreed to deepen bilateral defence ties at their talks in Hanoi on June 5.
