Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly (NA) Tong Thi Phong has affirmed the role of multilateral cooperation in Eurasia and the world in the context of rapid and complicated global developments.
The 4th Meeting of Speakers of Eurasian Countries’ Parliaments (MSEAP 4) kicked off in Nur Sultan, the capital city of Kazakhstan, on September 24 with Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Tong Thi Phong representing Vietnam at the event.
Vietnam’s National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan had a meeting on October 11 (local time) with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, during which she affirmed that Vietnam always treasures the friendship and all-round cooperation with the South Europe- Middle East, including Turkey as its leading economic partner in the region.
Vietnam is ready to support cooperation with parliaments of Eurasian countries, share experience and information to help each other cope with global challenges, contributing to ensuring peace, security and prosperity in the world, said Chairwoman of the country’s National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.
