A delegation of the National Assembly Office led by its Head Nguyen Hanh
Phuc is on a working visit to Laos from Sept. 22-24, with the aim of
enhancing cooperation between the two NA Offices.
The first session of the 13 th National Assembly will open in Hanoi
on July 21 and close on August 6. It will spend 11 days on organisation
and personnel work.
Vice NA Chairman Uong Chu Luu has affirmed the consistent
policy of the Vietnamese Party, State and People to enhance the fine
neighbouring relations, traditional friendship and comprehensive,
long-lasting cooperation with Cambodia .
Consulting people’s opinions must build
the just and cultural relationship based on the democratic and
responsible spirit, said National Assembly Deputy Chairman Nguyen Duc
Kien.

The 7th session of the 12th National
Assembly will open in Hanoi on May 20, focusing on law building and
the country’s important issues during 30 days of sitting.

Office led by its Deputy Chief, Khampheng Vilaphan, in Hanoi on May

A delegation of Vietnam ’s National Assembly has worked with the Cambodian
National Assembly Secretary General on the installation of an internet-connected
computer system for Cambodia ’s legislative body.
The National Assembly’s Standing
Committee will discuss the NA’s external relations and its programme of
international cooperation for 2010 at their 26 th session which
convened in Hanoi on December 15.
Vietnam and Laos should beef up their
economic and trade ties to match the potential and strengths of each
country as well as their special political relations, said a
legislative leader.
