Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha on February 22 requested more efforts to address bottlenecks for cultural development while working with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the National Master Programme on Development of Vietnamese Culture in the 2023-2030 period.
The UNESCO decision to, together with Vietnam, commemorate the birth and death anniversaries of classical poets Nguyen Dinh Chieu and Ho Xuan Huong demonstrates this organisation and the international community’s recognition of the country’s cultural and ethical values, as well as the traditional fondness for learning and the thought on gender equality and liberation of women.
Without internal strengths fully brought into play, a country is unable to achieve fast and sustainable development, and the most important internal strength of a country is its people, an expert has said.
