Vietnamese movie Nguoi Vo Ba (The Third Wife) won the Special Mention prize at the Bangkok ASEAN Film Festival, which took place in Thailand from July 3-8.
Vietnamese movie Nguoi Vo Ba (The Third Wife) on November 29 received the Best Artistic Contribution in International Competition awards at the 40th Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF).
The debut feature by Nguyen Phuong Anh (a.k.a. Ash Mayfair) – a writer-director based in New York and Vietnam – The Third Wife, won the NETPAC award at the Toronto International Film Festival 2018.
Vietnam's first international film festival will be held in Hanoi from
October 17-21 to celebrate the capital's millennium, said Le Ngoc Minh,
deputy director of the Ministry of Culture's Cinema Department.
