Another electric car service for tourism is scheduled to go into operation at Tay Ho district, Hanoi on Sep 2 to mark National Independence Day.

France ’s “Le Nouvel Observateur” (The New Observer) newspaper has published a two-page article praising Hanoi ’s beauty on its 1,000 th birthday.

Hanoi will organise firework displays in 29 locations on Oct. 10 to mark the grand ceremony of the 1,000 th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.

Almost 200 photos taken and collected by foreign ambassadors and diplomats working in Vietnam , as well as researchers, artists and photographers from many countries worldwide are on display at an exhibition that opened in Hanoi on September 24.

The capital city of Hanoi , together with other 19 cities and provinces nationwide, on March 27 switched off lights for an hour in response to the “Earth Hour” campaign.
