Online teaching and studying via the Internet and television were being carried out in 40 centrally-run cities and provinces nationwide as of October 8 due to impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the Ministry of Education and Training.
Three leading telecom services providers of Viettel, VNPT and MobiFone from September 12 to 30 completed setting up Internet connection in eight provinces and cities nationwide to facilitate online teaching and learning.
