The PCI 2018 report shows a score improvement of the provinces at the bottom of the rankings, but there have been signs of stagnation in the performance of those at the top of the list.

According to the Vietnam’s Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) survey, 2018 saw more positive improvements in business environment than the previous year, with informal charges decreasing.

With the highest score of 70.36, Quang Ninh continues to be the most competitive locality in the country as it topped Vietnam's Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) 2018.
