The Republic of Rwanda is willing to cooperate with Vietnam towards further strengthening the bilateral friendship between the two nations, President of the Republic of Rwanda Paul Kagame has said.
Vietnamese Ambassador to Tanzania and Rwanda Nguyen Kim Doanh presented credentials to Rwandan President Paul Kagame at a ceremony in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda, on February 22.
Vietnam always attaches importance to promoting the friendship and cooperation with traditional friends in Africa, including Rwanda and Guinea, said President Tran Dai Quang.
President Tran Dai Quang on June 30 sent a message of congratulations to Canadian Governor General David Johnston on the country’s 150th National Day (July 1).
Rwandan President Paul Kagame has told
the newly-assigned Vietnamese ambassador to his country to consider the
signing of new treaties, especially on economics and trade.
