An endangered sunda pangolin (manis javanica) was released into the Bach Ma National Park in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue by forest rangers on July 22.
Two critically endangered animals have been put under protection of the Cuc Phuong National Park in northern Ninh Binh province after they were found near residential areas, the national park announced on June 1.
Forest wardens in the northern province of Ninh Binh have handed over 22 Sunda pangolins, also known as the Malayan or Java pangolin, to the Carnivore and Pangolin Conservation Programme.
