The northern province of Hung Yen will cooperate with Japan's Sumitomo Corporation in the implementation of the third phase of Thang Long Industrial Park II expansion project under a memorandum of understanding exchanged on November 25 within the framework of the official visit to Japan by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

Japanese enterprises operating at Hung Yen’s industrial park are pleased with favourable conditions they have received here, with many planning to expand their investment, according to Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Yamada Takio.

A new MILO producing factory of the Nestlé Vietnam Group opened in Thang Long II Industrial Park in the northern province of Hung Yen on May 18.

The northern province of Vinh Phuc on October 22 granted an investment licence to Japan’s Sumitomo Group to build Thang Long III Industrial Park.
