The Vietnam-France Friendship
Association (VFFA) of Ho Chi Minh City has made remarkable
contributions to boosting two-way relations since its establishment 20
years ago.
A wide range of activities will take place in the northern province of Phu Tho
to celebrate the death anniversary of the Hung King and the opening of the Hung
Temple Festival, to take place from April 14 to 23.
The NA Chairman has emphasised the necessity for Hau
Giang province to speed up the industrialisation and modernisation so as to
narrow the gap between urban and rural areas and improve people’s life.
A seminar on India and Vietnam’s
traditional relations and their future prospects for cooperation was
held in the Indian city of Kolkata on September 20.
More than 30 French and Vietnamese
artists have their works on display at an installation art exhibition
which opened at the Ho Tram Beach Resort in Ba Ria Vung Tau Province on
Aug. 23.
A stone stele, chiselled with ancient Champa script, was
unearthed in the central province of Phu Yen , and believed to be a
very significant archaeological find, said a provincial official.
