A stately ceremony to celebrate the great poet Nguyen Du’s 250th birth anniversary was held in his birth place, the central province of Ha Tinh on December 5.

The World Records Union has released the official certificate announcing the new world record for Vietnamese talented poet Nguyen Du's Truyen Kieu (The Tale of Kieu).

The World Records Union (Worldkings) on December 2 officially released a certificate to recognised “Truyen Kieu” (The Tale of Kieu) as a literature work setting the most national records in the world.

More than 1,000 documents, works and images on the life and career of great poet Nguyen Du are being showcased at an exhibition that opened at the Nguyen Du memorial site in Ha Tinh province.
