The Hue Monuments Conservation Centre on December 20 launched an e-ticket system and virtual tours at the UNESCO-recognised ancient imperial relic site of Hue.

A new environmental campaign was launched on January 7 to plant 2,500 indigenous trees on five hectares of land at the Phong Dien Nature Reserve in Phong Dien district, central Thua Thien-Hue province.

Authorities in the central province of Thua Thien - Hue are continuing with a plan to renovate 16 historic relic sites at a total cost of 100 billion VND (4.3 million USD) this year.
