Situated on the east side of West Lake, Tran Quoc Pagoda – a landmark in Hanoi – is the oldest Buddhist temple in the capital city, dating back to the 6th century.
Tran Quoc Pagoda (Hanoi) and Buu Long Pagoda (Ho Chi Minh City) were listed among the world’s 20 most beautiful buddhist temples by US magazine National Geographic.
Hanoi is praised as a city of rich cultural heritage with over 5,000 cultural and historical relics. Over 2,000 relics have been recognised as national heritage and municipal heritage treasures.
A new Hanoi exploration tour called "Bonbon Hanoi" or “Bonbon City Tour” gives visitors a real taste of the history and culture of Hanoi, Radio the Voice of Vietnam reported.
Known as one of the icons of Hanoi, Tran Quoc Pagoda attracts crowds of Buddhists followers and domestic and international tourists throughout the year.
