The Japanese Embassy in Hanoi on March 17 held a tea ceremony in the presence of visiting deputy grand master Machita Soryu of Urasenke, one of the three Japanese Tea Schools.
Acting President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh hosted a reception for the 15th Grand Master of the Urasenke Tea School of Japan Daisosho Sen Genshitsu in Hanoi on October 16.
The Japanese tea ceremony is a cultural activity involving the ceremonial preparation and presentation of tea. The art has become popular in Vietnam recently, particularly among young people.
