The Spanish King’s Order of Civil Merit Encomienda was bestowed upon General Director of the Vietnam News Agency Nguyen Duc Loi at a ceremony held by the Spanish Embassy in Hanoi on November 30.
Nguyen Duc Loi, member of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and General Director of the Vietnam News Agency (VNA), was elected President of the Vietnam-Spain Friendship Association (VSFA) for the 2018-2023 term, at its third national congress in Hanoi on March 27.
Representatives from almost 120 Vietnamese and Spanish firms participated in a get-together in Hanoi on December 5 to mark the 40th founding anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two nations.
The Vietnam-Spain Friendship Association’s Hanoi chapter will continue organising numerous activities during 2017-2022 to enhance mutual understanding and cooperation between the two peoples.
